Caption: Relating to the exemption of tuition and laboratory fees at public institutions of higher education for certain paramedics.

HB 1105 exempts paramedics employed by political subdivisions from paying tuition and laboratory fees for emergency medical services courses at public institutions of higher education. The exemption applies if the student maintains satisfactory academic progress and includes specific limits on courses offered exclusively through distance education.
