Caption: Relating to applicability of civil service status to emergency medical services personnel in certain municipalities.
Initially Referred to House Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, chaired by a Republican
HB 1107 modifies the Local Government Code to extend civil service protections to emergency medical services personnel employed by municipalities with populations over 460,000, provided they work in a department other than the fire department.
