Caption: Relating to required reports of certain vaccine-related or drug-related adverse events.

SB 269 requires physicians to report serious adverse events related to experimental, investigational, or emergency-use vaccines and drugs to federal reporting systems. It establishes penalties for noncompliance and outlines rules for corrective and disciplinary actions by the Texas Medical Board. Vaccines and drugs administered as part of clinical trials are exempt from this requirement.
