Caption: Relating to the adoption of uniform rules for hours of work for certain county employees.
Initially Referred to Senate Local Government Committee, chaired by a Republican
Last Referred to House S/C on County & Regional Government Committee, chaired by a Republican
SB 65 lowers the population threshold for counties authorized to adopt and enforce uniform work hours for county employees. This change allows counties with populations of 265,000 or more to implement such rules, down from the current threshold of 355,000.
