Caption: Relating to the use of personal leave during school holidays by certain school district employees.
Initially Referred to House Public Education Committee, chaired by a Republican
HB 1411 allows certain non-exempt school district employees to use up to two days of their state-provided personal leave annually to receive compensation for days designated as school holidays. The provision applies only to employees who are not subject to annualized pay schedules and begins with the 2025-2026 school year.
