HB 1661 revises the management of election supplies and strengthens penalties for related offenses. It requires election authorities to supply precincts with an adequate number of ballots, with penalties for intentional noncompliance. The bill increases the severity of penalties for specific election-related offenses, including failure to supplement ballots or other critical election materials.
