Caption: Relating to the authority of the Texas Forensic Science Commission to review and refer certain cases to the office of capital and forensic writs.

SB 614 grants the Texas Forensic Science Commission the authority to review and refer cases involving capital and forensic writs to the Office of Capital and Forensic Writs. This provision is intended to facilitate the review of forensic issues in certain legal cases.
