SB 705 proposes amendments to the structure and terms of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors Advisory Board in Texas. The bill increases the number of appointed members from seven to nine, with one member required to be a public representative. It adjusts the terms of the board members to staggered six-year periods, with the terms of three members expiring on February 1 of each odd-numbered year. Additionally, the bill repeals a section of the Occupations Code.
