SB 732 requires multifamily residential developments reserved for individuals aged 55 and older and receiving low-income housing tax credits to install generators or alternative power sources. These systems must power elevators and HVAC systems capable of maintaining temperatures between 68 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit during power outages. Compliance is required by December 31, 2026, with reporting to the legislature due by March 1, 2027
