HB 1822 amends the Texas Family Code concerning the jurisdiction of juvenile courts over individuals in incomplete proceedings. It allows the courts to retain jurisdiction beyond the respondent's 18th or 19th birthday under specified circumstances. The bill also provides conditions under which juvenile records may be sealed, even for individuals on determinate sentence probation, if certain criteria are met.
