Caption: Relating to the use of funds from the rural prosecutor's office salary assistance grant program.

HB 1845 amends Section 130.913(e) of the Local Government Code to specify how funds from the rural prosecutor's office salary assistance grant program can be used. The funds may be utilized to increase salaries for assistant attorneys, investigators, paralegals, or victim assistance coordinators employed by the office, or to hire additional staff.
