SB 800 requires public institutions of higher education in Texas to provide mandatory orientation for incoming freshmen and undergraduate transfer students on the institution's policies regarding sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. The orientation, which can be conducted online, must include a video detailing the names and contact information of Title IX coordinators, the location of the Title IX office, and the services provided by the office. This requirement will take effect beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year
