Texas Policy Research Priority #1: TPR Vote Recommendation ENDORSED

HB 2118 allows the Texas Department of Transportation to issue oversize or overweight vehicle permits for transporting agricultural commodities during or preceding a disaster. It specifies conditions for these permits, including disaster declarations by the state or federal government, and sets a 120-day expiration period. The department may impose additional conditions to ensure safety and minimize road damage.
