Caption: Relating to the composition of the board of directors of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association.

HB 2213 modifies the composition of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association's board of directors. The bill changes the residency requirement for three board members, specifying that they must reside in an area of the state located outside the first-tier coastal counties, rather than the previous requirement of living more than 100 miles from the Texas coastline.
