HB 2282 increases the reimbursement fee that a convicted defendant must pay for the execution or processing of an arrest warrant, capias, or capias pro fine by a peace officer. The fee is raised from $50 to $75, and it applies to law enforcement agencies that either execute the arrest warrant or process it without execution. The bill specifies that the new fee structure applies only to offenses committed on or after the bill's effective date.
