HB 2300 prohibits the sale, distribution, and provision of hookahs to individuals under 21 years old, creating a new criminal offense. Retailers and individuals who sell or provide hookahs to minors are subject to Class C misdemeanor penalties. The bill also establishes an exception allowing active-duty military personnel aged 18 and older to purchase hookahs with valid military identification. Additionally, it requires anyone under 30 years old to present valid identification before purchasing a hookah.
