SB 1202 expands third-party review and inspection of property development documents, including home backup power installations. It allows authorized third parties to review plans and conduct inspections for home power systems without requiring submission to local regulatory authorities. The bill mandates that regulatory agencies post all relevant laws and standards online and issue approvals within two business days. It also prohibits additional fees for third-party reviews and requires inspectors to notify authorities within 15 days of completing an inspection.
