Caption: Granting the legislature permission to adjourn for more than three days during the period beginning Thursday, February 20, 2025, and ending Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
SCR 16 grants permission for both houses of the Texas Legislature to adjourn for more than three days during the period from Thursday, February 20, 2025, through Tuesday, February 25, 2025. This resolution is in accordance with Section 17, Article III of the Texas Constitution, which requires that neither house may adjourn for more than three days without the consent of the other house.
