Caption: Relating to the assertion of legislative privilege by the attorney general in certain legal challenges to the constitutionality of state statutes.

SB 1433 grants the Texas Attorney General the authority to assert legislative privilege on behalf of the state, state agencies, or state officials in legal challenges to state laws. It establishes a 30-day period for the Attorney General to provide evidence supporting the assertion of privilege while preserving the right of other parties to claim legislative privilege independently.
