SB 1448 makes various updates to Texas probate law, including clarifying rules for transferring probate cases between counties, modifying requirements for proving a will, revising procedures for estate inventories, and updating rules on the custody of probated wills. The bill also standardizes the use of electronic filing systems for probate courts and removes outdated statutory provisions.
