HB 3211 establishes requirements for optometrists and therapeutic optometrists to participate in managed care vision plans. It mandates that vision care plan issuers provide an online application process for these providers and treat all applicants equally. The bill also requires plan issuers to promptly process applications, offer provider contracts within five days of credentialing approval, and include approved optometrists in their networks within 20 business days.
