Caption: Relating to the authority of a political subdivision to regulate construction and renovation of structures owned by certain counties.
Initially Referred to House S/C on County & Regional Government Committee, chaired by a Republican
Last Referred to Senate Local Government Committee, chaired by a Republican
HB 3234 modifies existing law regarding the authority of political subdivisions to regulate the construction and renovation of county-owned structures. It specifically changes the scope of applicability to counties with a population of one million or more (rather than 3.3 million or more). This amendment affects how construction and renovation projects for county-owned buildings within another jurisdiction are regulated.
