Authored by Will Metcalf (R)
View at Source

Caption: Relating to prohibiting certain personal services performed by school district administrators; providing a civil penalty.
Initially Referred to House Public Education Committee, chaired by a Republican
Last Referred to Senate Education K-16 Committee, chaired by a Republican
HB 3372 prohibits school district administrators from performing personal services for or receiving financial benefits from businesses that contract with their district, education-related service providers, or other school districts. It defines "administrator" broadly to include individuals with significant administrative duties but excludes those primarily engaged in classroom instruction. Administrators found in violation of this rule would be subject to a $10,000 civil penalty per violation.
