SB 1734 enhances protections against fraudulent real estate transactions in Texas. It expands the legal definition of a fraudulent conveyance and strengthens the process for challenging questionable property transfers. The bill allows property owners to file affidavits and supporting documents to dispute fraudulent conveyances and provides a legal mechanism for courts to make expedited determinations on such claims. Additionally, it creates a framework for district courts to rule on fraudulent conveyances without requiring a full trial, improving the efficiency of fraud prevention in real estate transactions.
