SB 1936 updates the definition of "abuse unit" for certain controlled substances under the Texas Controlled Substances Act. It clarifies how paper-based drugs like LSD on blotter paper are measured for legal purposes, changing the calculation from ΒΌ-inch squares to each 10 milligrams of paper. The bill also standardizes dosage calculations for liquid and solid forms of these substances.
