Caption: Relating to the ship channel improvement revolving fund.
Initially Referred to Senate Transportation Committee, chaired by a Republican
Last Referred to House S/C on Transportation Funding Committee, chaired by a Democrat
SB 1939 transfers the Ship Channel Improvement Revolving Fund from the General Revenue Fund to the State Highway Fund. This fund, which supports port and ship channel expansion projects, will now be administered by the Texas Transportation Commission and integrated into highway-related funding programs.
