HB 4233 amends the Texas Finance Code to impose new reporting and auditing requirements on digital asset service providers. The bill requires these providers to allow customers to view a quarterly accounting of their digital assets and liabilities. It also aligns licensing requirements for digital asset providers with money transmission licensing rules and removes certain previous audit requirements.
