Caption: Relating to the exemption from ad valorem taxation of property of a charitable organization that provides financial support for medical care at certain institutions of higher education.

HB 4240 expands the property tax exemption for charitable organizations by including organizations that provide financial support for medical care at certain public institutions of higher education. This change allows qualifying charitable organizations to claim ad valorem tax exemptions on their real and personal property.
