Caption: Relating to imposition of application fees for certain permits and permit amendments for the disposal of oil and gas waste.

SB 2122 increases permit application fees for fluid injection wells and the disposal of oil and gas waste. It establishes a $200 nonrefundable fee for a fluid injection well permit and introduces new fees for land treatment and disposal permits, including $500 for land application permits, $2,000 for commercial oil and gas waste separation facility permits, and $3,000 for commercial surface waste facility permits. The bill applies to permit applications filed on or after September 1, 2025.
