Initially Referred to Senate Transportation Committee, chaired by a Republican
Last Referred to House Transportation Committee, chaired by a Republican
SB 2141 amends the Texas Transportation Code to modify the rules regarding specialty license plates for state and federal judges. Under current law, these plates must include the words "State Judge" or "U.S. Judge." This bill changes the requirement to an optional feature, allowing judges to choose whether to display these designations on their specialty license plates.
