SB 2230 allows counties to temporarily close beaches and evacuate unauthorized persons from hazard areas near space launch sites on scheduled launch dates. It creates a criminal offense for individuals who violate an evacuation order, classifying the offense as a Class B misdemeanor or a Class A misdemeanor for repeat offenses.
