HB 4546 clarifies legal procedures in lawsuits against veterinarians employed by governmental units. The bill requires plaintiffs filing lawsuits against both a governmental entity and a veterinarian to dismiss one party to proceed with their case. It also mandates that plaintiffs must specify whether they are suing the veterinarian in an official or personal capacity. Failure to comply will result in case dismissal.
