HB 4687 extends governmental immunity to certain charter schools and adult education programs. It grants immunity from liability and lawsuits to charter school campuses or programs that operate under Section 12.052, 12.0521(a)(1), or 12.053 of the Education Code. The bill ensures that employees, volunteers, and board members of these charter schools have the same legal immunity protections as public school district employees and trustees.
