Caption: Relating to the construction, expansion, or modification of certain concrete plants under a standard permit.
Initially Referred to Senate Natural Resources Committee, chaired by a Republican
Last Referred to House Environmental Regulation Committee, chaired by a Republican
SB 2351 addresses construction, expansion, or modification of concrete plants under standard permits issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). It allows the TCEQ to require operators of concrete plants to update their plans in accordance with amended permits if construction or modification has not commenced under the prior permit. Applications for such permits must include a detailed plot plan showing compliance with distance and setback requirements.
