Caption: Relating to the sale of fireworks on and before the Lunar New Year holiday.

HB 5084 expands the periods during which fireworks can be legally sold in Texas. It allows the sale of fireworks beginning five days before the Lunar New Year and ending at midnight on Lunar New Year, adding this period to existing sales windows for Independence Day, New Year's Eve, and Cinco de Mayo in certain areas.
