SB 2615 restricts remote work for employees of public institutions of higher education. It prohibits remote work except under specific conditions, such as temporary illness, disability accommodations, or for certain non-teaching positions where remote work does not interfere with duties. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is authorized to adopt rules for implementation.
