Caption: Relating to the use of municipal hotel occupancy tax revenue in certain municipalities.

HB 5165 expands the list of municipalities eligible to use municipal hotel occupancy tax revenue for specific purposes. It adds a municipality that serves as the county seat of a county with over 10,000 residents and contains a state park featuring sandhills. The bill modifies the Tax Code to define qualifying municipalities based on population and geographic criteria.
